Update & 4 Month Shots Question!

My son Johnathan will be 4 months on monday & has his appt that day, i took him to the hospital wednesday because he had a fever of 101 when we arrived he got a chest xray & took some of his mucus from his nose(which he did really good with) turns out he has the flu   well he got prescribed tamiflu so hopefully its helping him. My poor baby.

Anyway, will they still give him his shots on monday since he still sick? or is that fine?

They will most likely push it back a week or 2, to make sure the virus is working it's way out of his system

I would wait until he is feeling better. The shots might just make him feel worse.

you can keep the appt, it'll be good for him to get a check-up. You can make a just shot appt for 2 weeks from then once you are there.

don't cancel his appt.. it will be good for him to get checked by the dr since he is sick anyways. they will not give the shots, but like everyone else said he can get them in a week or two as long as he is all better
