re: Views on TV

I have TV off most the day. When she is a teen and wants to buy her own TV and put in her room then thats fine. But right now she is 15 months old only thing that grabs her attention is some commercials other then that she dont like it

We leave the TV on all the time, in all the rooms. My kids don't sit down and actually watch it, though. They're more interested in playing than sitting down watching a whole episode of anything.
What DOES get their attention is stuff on NatGeo. They like that better than cartoons, I think.

OMG I HATE commercials. I just got my kids Nabi tablets to get some more stuff to do with homeschool (overall we love them BTW) and I never expected an app to have a commercial, but it did & it was for toilet paper of all things. Then I get my almost 6 yr old at the store telling me, "We should but THIS toilet paper mom, it can hold a penny even when it's wet".   ONE commercial, for TP of all things, as if a 6 yr old should even care. It just goes to show how quickly they star to impact what we think we want or need.
