BTW: You won't use half that crap.

Also, don't get a pump right away until your supply is set and you make sure breastfeeding is going to work out. The majority of places will not take back a used breast pump.

You need very, very little necessities. lol

Most places just want you to spend as much of your money as humanly possible   I'd at least have a digital thermometer though, humidifier, bulb syringe, baby nail clippers...

I'm stressing like crazy... to the point where I am about to cry because I feel like I have NOTHING that I am *supposed* to have and more luxuries than anything.

I wasn't planning on buying a pump right away but I totally forgot you can't return an opened one....... so I'll definitely wait! Thank you for linking me

burp clothes in dozens are also handy, you really do not need that much when they are newborns and i would look into renting a pump from your hospital see if they have a medela breast pump. thats the brand the hospital have here.

They can give you a free hand held one. You don't need a real one unless going to work. You practically need nothing for a newborn! Bed, carseat, a few onesies, bath soap, diapers, wipes. The rest of the stuff is totally not needed. You can use regular towels and washcloths for baths and burping. I used kitchen towels. You don't need baby tub. My kids hated the swing. I co slept for a while, you might not even need a crib until later. I don't use a diaper bag. Get a big purse. Put a diaper and some wipes in it. Leave a change of clothes in the car. Stuff is rediculously expensive and I can say I didn't use most of it! Changing table is a waste. I change my kid on the floor or ottoman. I'm too tired to walk to the kids room to change 200 diapers a day.
Diaper genie is a waste. Get some exercise and walk to the dumpster. It wot kill you. The refills are like $6.
