Names are hard =/

posted 9th Feb
Anyone want to throw out some girl names that fit this criteria?

*Properly spelled
*Not made up
*Used on the correct sex
*Uncommon (preferably nothing inside the top 500 for popularity)
*But not so uncommon that no one has ever heard it
*Doesn't start with a P or an F
*Fits with middle name Ann or Clara Ann

My older daughter is named Clementine May. I love vintage-y, old lady names. I need 3 to take to the hospital and I'm iffy about the third on my list, so I want to see if anything stands out to replace it with. Thanks.

I'm seeing a lot of names from my long list
ETA: Eloise (which has been mentioned twice) is actually the third name on my list and the one I'm iffy about and trying to decide if I want to replace. I'm worried about its popularity.

One of them is actually my top pick ;-)

It's way way too popular for my tastes. Plus middle names are family names and I can see using it as a first name causing family drama =/

Hmmm....

Most of them don't sound great with the middle name(s), but they meet the other criteria.
Winifred
Ophelia
Cordelia
Leona
Matilda
Magnolia
Louise or Louisa
Lucille (it's just barely in the too 500, though)
Dorothea
Blanche

Try searching the top names on social security baby list for the years 1900, 1910, 1920, etc. Lots of great "old lady" names.

The second name on my list is in there! I'm keeping tight lipped on what they are, but I guess it's easy to guess what I like lol!

. Hahaha. It's good to stay tight lipped sometimes. We didn't tell our friends/family the name until after dd was born (we didn't decide for 100% sure until a few hours before we left the hospital). I was sure we'd get a ton of "that's an old lady name comments" but no one did once it was attached to a cute little baby.

I like your name taste, by the way!
