I got an email to sign this petition. Have yall heard of it? What do you think? I am all for breastfeeding, but I think it's getting a little ridiculous now to constantly find a way to show it. I have NO problem with nursing in public, but I think people are trying to make this more controversial than it needs to be.

i dont see how it much different from the "spay your pets" stamps *shrugs*
i think breastfeeding needs to be more widely excepted and encouraged

I don't really care, just like I don't really care about any other stamps that are out there to be honest. I loved nursing, but I don't care about turning it into a stamp. *shrugs*

No I haven't heard of it, but I agree with you. I think it's great that people want to make a point to stop discriminating against bfing, but we don't need to throw it in peoples face all day every day.

No one even really uses snail mail anymore. Why is a postage stamp the proper avenue for advocating breast feeding??

Why not? It woudl save teh government millions of dollars potentially if they could actually hit the healthy people 2020 goal with nursing....so I say go for it.

I'm unbiased. It would not bother me, but I agree with you. It is made to be more controversial than it should be. I completely understand defending yourself and standing up for your rights if you're doing it and somebody makes a comment. Either way, I don't see it as a big deal. I guess it's good to promote it though for more women to breastfeed. But THB, I've never looked or paid attention to any postage stamp on any letter. So I doubt this will do any good. Meh.

Did any of you look at the stamps on your mail today? I didn't so...would it really matter?

I can't even remember the last time I used a postage stamp .... so it wouldn't bother me either way

I use postage all the time, we buy some pretty cool stamps... our last set of stamps were space stamps.   I love sending snail mail.
