Husband and I separated, do we need to sign taxes together?

Hi,
I am going through an UGLY separation and divorce. We need to sign on our taxes Monday. Do we need to go in together? The husband is saying we have an appoitment to sign at noon, only he hates my guts and I dont want to be anywhere near him. Do I really need to go in together with him?

Youshould be able to sign at dfferent times. Is it through a cpa? Call them and set up a second appointment for you

It through a small business. Small business accountants. Mondays are the signing day, he said we need to go in together, but I am pretty sure, that I remember, Mondays are walk ins. I dont want to be anywhere near him

There's no reason that you should have to sign together. You should call them and let them know or whatever.
