plane ride with a 7 month old

posted 9th Feb
My son will be 7 months old when we go to nevada. I was wondering if anyone had los like that when they went on a plane for the first time and how were they? any advice on how to keep them occupied and calm during the flight would be great as well

My daughter was 7 months and we flew from NH to TN, with a few layovers, and back. I brought bottles, and toys, but she ended up sleeping through most of the trip.

If you can get him to drink a bottle during take off, and landing, or use a pacifier that'll help.

Dd is 15 months and has been flying her whole life. Unfortunately I found out it got a lot harder once she was mobile...at 7 months she was a master crawler and wanting nothing to do with sitting still. The plane ride sucked haha. But I got her to nurse a lot and she ate Cheerios and made a huge mess. Good luck!

Every time I road with LO on the plane ride, he zonked out during take off.

Try to sit closest to the motor.

I always gave him a bottle during take off, if he didnt go to sleep first.
Dress in layers. Sometimes being on a smaller plane, it can get hot and uncomfortable QUICK.

I also brought a few brand new toys, a new book, and some cheerios. Make sure the toys doesnt have any liquid in them. I brought a teether toy and it held us up in security.

Bring a back pack and put all your stuff in there. Being a stroller that you can dissemble with one hand and your feet. Wear slip on shoes.

Get a seat on the outside row.
