Hospital bag and Baby's Hospital bag!

i am 34 weeks tomorrow, i was in the hospital all last week due to a non productive gall bladder, i was sooo scared that my little man would have to be born early, and i didn't even have a hospital bag packed or anything, i was not expecting to stay in the hospital a week. So my mom had to go and get me pjs and socks and undies, even then we still didn't know what i should have we didn't know if i was staying in a few nights or right until the end of my pregnancy. Now that i am home, I am packing my hospital bag just in case i have to go back to the hospital again , just to be prepared for anything.. & i am going to have my little mans diaper bag packed and ready JUST in case! anything could happen & I'm not messing around like we did last time. So, what should i pack in my hospital bag ? Did anyone have a good list i could go by! and what did you pack in your baby's hospital bag?  

There is a sticky in the preparing for baby section that has a list and other moms have posted other stuff. I used it.  

I didn't pack lots, but I was super grateful for my slippers, housecoat, and pillow.

i was sooo grateful of my mom getting my fave pillow. and when the discharged me i was so excited i forgot it on the bed ! i called the hospital crying and everything because i left it there, and when i went to pick it up the where after taking my effing pillow case !!!! lol .. but its funny cause i robbed theirs before i left haha.

I packed for me:
Pillow
Chap stick
Shampoo/conditioner/body wash
A going home outfit
Jammie pants and tee shirts to wear
Socks and slippers
Hairbrush
Phone charger
Camera

I didn't bother with pads, undies(except a pair to wear home), or a hair dryer cuz my hospital provides them. But you'll need them if yours doesn't.

For DD:
Paci
Diapers and wipes (though i didn't use them cuz the hospital also provided those)
Sleepers to wear
Going home outfit
Hair bows

I'd also pack a hat, though they let me have the ones DD wore in the hospital.

Depending on your hospital, most provide mesh panties (which are great because then you don't ruin yours.) Pads, diapers, blankets and clothes for baby while you are in the hospital, gowns, soap shampoo (Bring your own if you want to).

If I could go back I would only bring.
Sweats/Shirt for going home (more if you want to wear them there)
Socks.
Going home outfit for baby
Hair brush
Shampoo & Soap (I have sensitive skin.)
Cell.
Laptop.
Then stuff for dad if he is going to be with you.
Blankets for going home for baby.
Carseat.

you really don't need a lot.

something to wear home, phone charger, camera, going home outfit for baby, maybe a pillow and that's about it.
