when is diherreah too much? 18m.

My eighteen month old has had diherreah for several days...First it was thick, green, and watery. Now, it's pale yellow with a couple small chunks. He is going twice a day. When is it time to find a clinic around here? We just moved here a week ago.

If this is the same child hat was sick before, I would have taken him already. He sounds dehydrated.

If he's eating and drinking well and still peeing, I wouldn't take him in at all, personally. Twice a day isn't a lot. From your description, it sounds like the main infection has passed and now he's just recovering. He should be fine.

It is the same one. He is still having a full pee diaper every two hours, I'm just worried about the poop. It's causing him to keep getting rashes.

How is he eating and drinking? Is it possible to find an urgent care, just to get him checked out?

If he's still peeing normally, he's not dehydrated. Yeah diarrhea is irritating to the skin. Leave his diaper off for a while after he poops to let it air out. I find Boudreax's Butt Paste to be quite helpful when dealing with diarrhea diaper rash. I disagree with Kylees Mama, I wouldn't take him in for that if he seems fine otherwise.

He's not eaing a whole lot. But he has been eating, and drinking plenty of juice/milk/water. I am going to google an urgent care, there has to be something besides an emergency room around here.

He's been sick for a few days, that's why I say this.

Yeah I think I'm going to call his old pedi and at least get some advice. The office is 2+ hours away but he hasn't switched yet.
