Stop being a baby. Jesus. If you like them then it shouldn't matter this much to you if people don't like them.

Is it really that hard for people not to post nasty comments about names?I was asking which they preferred, not how much they hate them.

Preference usually comes with people disliking a name, whether that's to an extreme or not. Quite a few people don't fancy the whole hyphenated first names, because it isn't all that common in a lot of places you can guarantee people will express how much they dislike the name. Its a part of naming your child, you just need to get over it because people are bound to hate your child's name, some just dislike and others will like or love. People don't always like things that don't seem right to them, and hyphens tend to spark some criticism.

I personally really don't like the hyphens since it seems the parents couldn't decide so they gave them two names. But you really can't take offense to people who don't like your child's name. Seriously. Its a part of life, just be happy with your decision. Your reaction to peoples opinions is also bound to arouse more nasty comments.

I don't take offence to people not liking the names, I take offence when for no apparent reason what-so-ever they start posting all over that they hate the name its horrible etc.
There's no need for it, if they don't like it, don't vote, simple.

The way I read it, some words weren't the best choice but you didn't specify so people stated their opinions. Before people started making quote un-quote nasty comments you started getting defensive. They said they didn't like the names and you came off rather upset, so then people started getting frustrated with you. You have to realize posting on a public forum you will get stuff you don't like and if you start reacting like you did, you WILL get people being nasty. In a way, you insinuated some of the comments in my honest opinion.

I'm sorry people don't like the names you picked, but you gotta realize people are very opinionated and you really can't take too much offense to some people saying they hate the names. You're an adult and about to be a mom, what they think shouldn't upset you so much.

Like I said, doesn't upset me that people don't like the names, pisses me off that they start randomly commenting on my posts saying that they hate it its horrible etc, if they don't like it, don't vote or comment, it's not that hard not too be nasty, is it?

You didn't ask anything, actually. You posted a poll with a title that posed no apparent question. People don't care about hurting your feelings, and it's not everyones job to tiptoe around you to make sure that you don't get your feelings hurt. If you really loved the names you wouldn't get so defensive about them when people say bad things about them.

The people who randomly post hate comments towards a bagys names are the ones who act like 5 year olds, not the person who asks for votes towards the ones they like the best, simple.

Like I said, your reactions said otherwise so people started getting a little more "nasty." People will do what they wish, whether they decide to comment or not is on them. The best you can do is ignore it, otherwise people are going to continue to be nasty in response to you.

Names I have picked for my daughter some people will hate, so I keep them off here. Some people absolutely love the names I have, but because I know some people will have reactions like these I leave them off the internet. When you do something, you have to think of the possibilities and reactions of others and how you will react to them.

It's called OPINIONS on a public forum, If you can't handle that then your pussy ass shouldn't be here.

I wasn't one of the people who was posting how I truly felt about the names, but I was really questioning your maturity when I read your reactions. People hate names, people love names, you need to get over it and accept it. You probably hate some names too, even ones you don't think of.
