posted 9th Feb
I am going to nevada with my mom and my 2 to boys in april. the boys are gonna see their great grandparents for the first time and im so excited. I have alot of questions and maybe someone can help
1. my boys will be 2 and 7 months old can one of them sit on each of our laps so i can save money on buying another plane ticket?
2. can i bring there strollers and carseats with me and how does that work?
3. How do i pack my los diaper bag to bring on the plane with me? do i prepare the bottles with water first? do i have to bring an unopened can of formula?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated i am so scared of bringing both of the kids on the plane

2 yr. old needs a ticket, you can't bring the can of formula I would pack one of those little formula tubs, and not fill the bottles. You can check the carseats and strollers.

Check out the airline....I thought it was 3 but could be wrong. I'm pretty sure DD didn't have to be in her own seat last year but I could be thinking of another year. You can bring your stroller and carseat

I flew twice with my daughter so far Once when she was 6 months and once when she was 12months.

The liquid rule doesnt apply to babies and kids. I had 2 bottles full of liquid for my DD all they did was screen it. they might run a tape thing over the formula can to make sure its doesnt contain anything.

I checked my car seat in for free and was able to let DD stay in her stroller till we gated. (it was a life saver)

Also any liquids you have goes in one bucket so they can check em. Same with electronics.

My LO at 2 flew free on my lap. It's one kid per adult, so if you are flying solo you will need to buy a ticket for one of them. And if you buy a seat you can get a discounted ticket by calling the airline at the time of booking. And will need to take an aircraft approved carseat.

I checked the car seats with my luggage. And then checked the stroller at the gate, so I had the carseat all the way up to boarding and then immediately upon arrival as we were leaving the plane.

its me and my mom so we figured each of us could take one of the kids im just hoping we can get seats together cause of the kids so we can switch back and forth. I figured i needed a carseat so thats fine and i just found out most car rental places will let you rent a carseat as well. I just need to take both of the strollers with me. How did your 2 year old do on the plane? I am thinking about buying a kindle fire that way i can download some games on there for him to play.

I meant stroller up to the gate.

I would suggest researching car rentals and carseats. Most offer them, but I watched a program a year or two ago. The straps were frayed and some were expired, but still being rented out. It might have changed, but i would still look into it.

My two year old did fine. We made sure have little snacks. No sugar. And a few activities. He played with his cars for the most part.
