Separated from husband, Harrasing emails. The damage?

Ok, so I receintly separated from my husband. We have agreed on a divorce, but he has gone pyscho on emails explaning what a whore and slut I am . Sending porno videos and explaning what a peice of crap me and my family are. For the record, I never once cheated on him. I never had freinds or a social life because he was a controlling, verballly abusive smurf.
What are the consequences of harrasing emails during a divorce/separation? It angers me that he speaks like I am a cheating whore, like maybe he is trying to build a case so I wont dip into his assts in the divorce. They arent threatning, they are just demeaning. Because I love my children, I dont want to get him in trouble from seeing his children.... troubled here, any thoughts?

Save it all, bring it to court.

If you don't file for sole custody, it shouldn't change him being able to see his kids, but you can put stipulations in the divorce proceedings (as far as I know) about non-harassing communication.

Do you have a lawyer? Id show them the emails, it probably won't stop him seeing his kids but it will help you get what you need from him.

i would file for a no contact order, because he is harassing you

That's actually a criminal offense. Call the police.

Call police and make a report... sounds stupid but I had all that stuff with me, in court the judge didn't pay attention because I had no repots on it, and I had a lawyer...

Luckily, during our marriage, the cops were called twice at our home by my mother. My mom called the cops twice saying he was harrasing me. The cops called me at my home and another time, they came over a did a report. I sent them away *sigh* But now I am divorcing.

Yeah we had domestic violence probs, the 1 time I called cops was only time he just threatened over phone they couldn't do nothing, just make reports now, if u already have a report, that's good shows he has history of this, it didn't just start.
