Your husband's job sounds pretty cool. The things he must see!

Same and same. Although I would want something left behind (like some tombstone) so my family can visit if they wish.

I agree. I just don't want my kids to see decomposed photos of my body.

I never know what to do with ashes... my baby nephew's ashes are in a sort of vile necklace with a fairy that hangs on my vanity.

Although I wouldn't mind giving my body to science, I can't see that either.

Bleh! I saw a show about it on Discovery or something... completely graphic stuff. They showed an overweight man who had a heart attack come covered in a white sheet. They just dumped the body in the woods and left a camera nearby that ran for 2 weeks.
His body was crazy swollen, bugs eating through his nostrils and any opening on his body... and it just turned me off to the process. Not the whole being there... just the fact that my body may be shown on some show in the future.
