Weighted blanket??

I am in the market for a weighted blanket for my 3 year old. He really needs one. I found this one on ebay

I have found MUCH cheaper ones. Making one yourself is cheaper as well. How big are you wanting one?

I have no idea. I want it to last him a while. I would make one myself if I had a sewing machine. I don't even know how much these things go for. I know my friend paid 185 for hers

I work in long term care, try ss worldwide, and other ltc suppliers, and try searching for similar terms like sensory blanket to find better deals on weighted blankets that are not autistic specified.

WOW that is expensive. & Wouldn't 11lbs be too heavy for him? I've never heard of this. I'm just curious now, what's it for & why?
