did anyone else find the strep b culture to be extremely painful? I had mine done on Thursday and i am still having pain (simlar to a UTI) I dont have frequent urination it just burns like hell and then i get alot of cramping in my back and belly. I called on call yesterday and they called in antibiotics, but im funny about meds and what if i dont need medicine? Oh and this am i woke up with diarrhea... Have any of you experienced this?

I remember it being a little painful/uncomfortable, but afterwards I was okay (just sore for maybe an hour). Think it could be a uti?

that is why they called in the meds, but i had no symptoms prior. No itching, no frequen urination, and it hurts like hell sparatically not even every time i go. I wish they would do a urine test to confirm so im not just taking meds for nothing.

Not sure why you'd find a cotton swab painful. If your doctor thinks you need meds, you need to take it!
