I had to quit nursing. I'm 11 weeks pregnant. Last weekend I just completely stopped producing anything, out of the blue. I called my doctor and she says it actually happens quite often in pregnancy. Your body recognizes that it's just simply doing too much and that's usually the first thing to go.   So chances are, even if you didn't switch that might have happened. Though, I don't know how far along you are. I have been super upset about quitting nursing, too. I planned to breastfeed LO until he was 18 months, at least. He's only 10 months.

it all depends on many factors....how long ago you stopped nursing?has your supply totally dried up? how old is your infant? Every woman is different....

My daughter is 19 months and is still breastfeeding but shes only doing it because its a comfort thing. I am trying to wean her off because it is starting to hurt a little bit. She has took the bottle but stopped when she turned one month old.
