Quoting Dahling:" Oh, wow. Were there any complications or scary risks with that? I've never heard of a doctor letting ... [snip!] ... that way (though I have seen a Baby Story or two where a midwife delivered the baby in the sac), but I've never heard why."
with my first i only had a 27 minute labor from start to finish so there was no time for anyone to intervene, i had severe sickness with this pregnancy and could not keep anything down and had no waters to rupture and it was never picked up on any ultrasounds, they did mention a drop in her heart rate and had to cut me but everything else was fine she was just tiny, 6 days late and only 5lb 10.5oz
with my son i was contracting for 2 days but active labor was only 1 hour 50 minutes with him so i suppose that why there was no intervention here as well but i had an ultrasound a week previous and that showed normal amnio levels, i ate and drank normally with him but was born with no waters either just in the sac
i asked why but no one can give me an answer
