Pregnancy Anouncements!

so after a long time i think i came up with a cute announcement!

im so far from friends and family i wanted to do something that is computer friendly. however.. i didnt just want to post a picture and i couldnt agree on just one way to post it... sooo i came up with

an online scavenger hunt!
and the end will be the picture of our test/and or sonogram picture..

i just recently had a miscarriage and havent told people about that directly yet... so thats why this is tough..

any ideas on how to get started? what i could link? how would i get it crossed that this is a new pregnancy? or does that even matter?

In my humble opinion I would probably be annoyed by an online scavenger hunt. I don't think I'd make it to the end of it.

Yeah I have no patience for that type of thing lol. I posted a pic on facebook with me and the hubby with our positive test. I was gonna post a picture of him thumbs up and me in the background pretending to throw up in the toilet with the caption "we're pregnant! " but I felt weird copying someone's idea I saw on pinterest.

yeah everything i found was on pinterest.. except the scavenger hunt lol

if they were closer i think it would be easier.. :/
but im trying to be cheap too lol cuz postage.. unless i just send it to the grandparents? greatgrandparents? and aunts/uncles? like a card or something? then when they get it and we get calls we post it on fb?

i just want to do something special this time :/

You could post a picture of your older child holding a sign they made saying I'm going to be a Big Sister/Brother.

We shared the news w/ our family by going over for dinner w/ our almost 2yr old son wearing his shirt that said I'm the Big Brother. It was our way of including him in sharing the news. =)

Why not take a picture of your LO wearing a t-shirt that says big sister/brother or have them hold a picture of a ultrasound. Hmm, or a family picture with your SO and LO kissing your belly.
