Vaccine Q

posted 8th Feb
So we have always gone with the standard vaccine schedule suggested. Well, DD2 had her HepB shot at the hospital when she was born. Then we missed her 2 month appointment with her pedi, it was my fault because I had my days mixed up. My bad! Well I asked for a new appointment and they didn't have ANY time available until a month and a half later. So I said screw it and just made her 4 month appointment since it was almost that time anyway. Well, that was supposed to be today but we are having car troubles and I couldn't make it. I haven't rescheduled yet but I am going to on Monday, and my guess is that they won't have another available appointment for at least another month. I am annoyed that they are so busy they can't reschedule appointments for a reasonable time, but I can't really do anything about it, and I'm annoyed that her vaccine schedule is going to be so off. My other two were always on schedule so idk how it works, will this affect future vaccines? Will she have to start over on her vaccines? The only one she has had is her HepB the day she was born.
Really wish we weren't off schedule so far already.

We have Medicaid for her, do you know if Medicaid will pick it up since it's not her listed pediatrician?

Normally health departments take Medacaid and if they don't it shoudn't be to much. I know that ours only charge $10 for them.

Here you no longer get them at the Dr anyway - they are all at the health dept.

My DS missed his 2 month shots, and I rescheduled for the earliest, which was also close to the 4 month, but at that time they gave him the scheduled 2 month shots and said 6 wks later to come give him the 4 month, and he got those then got the last round about 6 wks late, but by the time he was 1 [since theres about 2-4 months between the yr shots and the ones before] he was caught up and goit his 1yr shots at the right time.
They should give her the 2month shots and then if I were you id schedule 6 wks later to get the 4 month and just kinda play catch up. They wont restart them.
