re: What age did you get your baby's ears pierced?

I think earrings on little ones can be so adorable. I'm no help though cos i wouldn't pierce them. My daughter is 2.5 and wants 'em so i just plan on making her little clip ons.

if you felt guilty after the first, then maybe hold off on the second's? i donno though!

DD 1 was 3 months. DD 2 is only 4 days old, so I'm not sure when I'll get hers done.

i didnt do alexandras until she was 5 years old , and that was only because she asked
i would never intentionally put a baby through any pain that wasnt for medical reasons , and yes it will hurt them

alex only had hers in for a few weeks and she didnt want them anymore , then about 6 months later she wanted them again , lol

I'm sorry, what!?

I got mine done at two weeks old and if this baby is a girl I will get her ears pierced early enough so that she can't pull on them or get them infected. I would rather care for them myself before they are old enough to play with them and before her ears are exposed to hair products and stuff that causes infections. I have never had any sort of infection or problem with my ear piercings my momma got done but the ones I got at 17 I had tons of problems with regardless of how often they where cleaned. Plus you can't tell I have my ears pierced when they are out so if I did decide I didn't like them I wouldn't be bothered and just would take them out.

plus her diamond ones lol
she gets a huge pack from claires every holiday. she looses them so easily.

If I had a daughter I'd probably go after her first or second set of shots. A lot of pedi offices do them now or can recommend a good place since the gun can be harmful.

I think it's rude when people are condescending towards moms who pierce their kid's ears. What's the point?

I got my kid's ears pierced because she was bald as hell and I was sick of people telling me how handsome my little boy was. I've been told what a terrible mom I am for that, then when they find out I got them done with a gun, HOLY HELL CALL CPS!

Are you high!? Lol I answered her question, tho my daughter isn't born yet that is when I will pierce her ears. And you assuming I vaccinate is cute, but completely irrelevant. I suppose you're one of those moms that got smurf for piercing your dds ears, so you get all defensive for no reason.
