impulse buying..

so, we have every penny for tax returns going somewhere important, a new bed, furniture, deposit and first months rent for the place we're looking at, furniture for the kids room, stroller, baby necessities, new tires all the important stuff.well, I felt bad because DH isn't really getting anything for himself so today he called me asking if he could buy himself something...I asked what it was...it was a banjo -_-

The man wanted a banjo....I felt terrible that he wasn't gonna get something that was his to buy for himself so I said go for it...it wasn't ridiculously expensive but it wasn't cheap either...but he's done buying..Im excited because we get to go and buy our little girl the rest of the things that she'll need and our little boy is gonna have an amazing birthday tomorrow!!...

did anyone else or their DH have an impulse purchase? do you regret it??

He just spent $2700 on a motercycle today
I got a $13 purse And new tennis shoes lol

I impulse buy a lot. I don't need anything. But I have some very sparkly shoes that I don't really wear.

he's getting a gun, i was supposed to get a tattoo but found out today that i'm knocked up so instead we have to put the money towards a bigger car....

Plus we don't really need the money for major things this year so I let him splurge
In a few years he's buying me fake tits so I think it's fair lol

My DH is an impulse buyer to the max. Luckily since we have a child now he's a lot better and typically speaks with me beforehand about things. He always wants something new every day though. it drives me nuts, because I'm a cheapo to the extreme ha.

My SO just bought me a camera and a new laptop, and he bought himself a tablet haha. All of our bills are paid up and he had a really good weekend at work (big snowmobile race, he's a bartender) so we figured we would treat ourselves. We don't regret it all, we love our new toys.

I just stay in my house so I don't spend money on things I don't need. SO is always telling me to buy whatever I want which doesn't help. Take tomorrow as an example, we are going to the states tomorrow and spending the night so I can go shopping while he goes for dinner. I was raised as a penny pincher so it frustrated me because I have an internal battle with myself everytime.

awe, that's great!..we just got new computers last year so we figured why go out and buy more technology that we won't really use!...I have no idea how to use tablets!.lol
