It couldn't be dehydration, right?

posted 8th Feb
My son is getting over RSV. He's MUCH better today than he has been (if you've read my frantic posts..)Monday and Tuesday, while in the hospital, he didn't hardly eat. Maybe a few ounces a day. He has thrown up a few times from coughing. Starting Tuesday, he began drinking pedialyte with his formula and even just plain pedialyte. We got released yesterday so I picked some up and he's been drinking at least an ounce after every bottle of milk. Today, he has picked up on eating. 4 ounces here, another 2 there, and then 3, and then 2...etc. It's not as often and as routine as before, but he's definitely still drinking.

He has had at least 5 pee diapers every day and 1poop, even though it was a little runny earlier..

But..I noticed earlier his soft spot looked a little sunken in and I heard it's a sign of dehydration.

He might be a little dehydrated, but if he's had 5 wet diapers, that's pretty good for an ill baby. I'd just keep an eye on him.
