Ok so I need a little advice, I have not felt baby move a lot today and OB said to just drink lots of water and lay down. This does not seem to work very well, would try juice but it makes me sick to drink juice what else can I do. I will be 36 weeks on Sunday

try to eat something really sweet and lay on your left side.. if nothing happens i would consider seeing a dr immediately since you are only 36 weeks!
good luck!

Do you have any ginger ale, or something carbonated you could sip on?

Maybe take a bath...for some reason mine goes crazy especially if I get in when the water is still running.

You HAVE felt baby move tho, right? If yes, I wouldnt worry TOO much since baby might be just having a lazy day.
If you're REALLY worried, you could either call L&D or your OB's answering service (mine goes to a triage nurse) and talk to a professional.
Good luck

babies have sleeping patterns just like we do.. if you've been moving a lot it may have been keeping yuor baby asleep..OR he/she was awake but you were moving so much you didn't notice.. try eating something sugary or drink something carbonated. as others have said you can also take a shower. it made little man move like crazy when i'd shower..

I have tried the warm bath thing and she moved a little bit then and have drank on some mountain dew and that has helped some but she is still not moving as much as she normally does

If she has not been moving a whole lot go get a nst at labor and delivery. I listened to everyone that told me babies run out of room and move less, babies sleep a lot towards the end, blah blah blah. I should have listened to my intuition the whole time. I almost lost my baby because of it. Don't ever trust someone else's opinion if you feel something is wrong you need to be seen. If you feel baby is just asleep then you're probably right.

its pretty normal for you to feel some decrease in movement as baby runs out of room. if you feel like anything is wrong though, call your doctor or labor and delivery and detail what all you have done, your concerns, and ask for any other advice they have. they can tell you what might be a normal decrease and what to be concerned with.

The same exact thing happened to me the other day and it scared me to death because he is always moving. A friend of mine said that maybe he was in my back and she had the same issue. She told me to get on my hands and knees and rock back and forth (weird I know). I did that for about 5 minutes and sure enough he started kicking me. I think he was just exploring my back side lol.
