Is it possible

That labor can come on feeling like you have to Poo really badly? Like an IBS attack. Nothing else IBS related is happening just the cramping. My tummy gets tight but IBS attacks while I've been pregnant have done that before. My LO is going nuts inside right now. And I'm in a lot of pain. They're coming close together, but no closer or further than IBS cramps. UGH wish I knew what this was supposed to feel like.

Does your bump go totally solid? do the pains start slowly and build up then fad off?
the best way i can describe an established contraction is:

uh-oh its coming back, ow, ow ow , GNDHidfugn odghvsdh gfh d h (insert the rudest word you know, ow ow , ow oh its going

They're coming the closest I've felt, and my LO is going insane off the walls (lol) right now, and pressing down on my cervix. And my legs are tingly and numb dull pain etc., etc,. feels like IBS/period cramps this happened once around 37 weeks I posted but it wasn't this painful and I ended up going to the bathroom  ! I wish I'd either have a clear definite sign. Or go poop already TMI lol.

Labor can absolutely feel like you have to poo, so much in fact when women on here say they have that feeling, I tell them to head in immediately. That pressure you're feeling is what you feel right before you actually push the baby out so.... good idea to head to the hospital, just in case.

idk what IBS cramps feel like, but i have heard that when you're in labor, it sometimes feels like you have to poop. when i was having contractions, i felt like i had to poop, so when i called the doctor to ask about timing, i also asked if she thought i could go poop. i was worried that i would have my daughter in the toilet. lol. but, i really did have to poop. so, that was cool.

Yeah I feel them coming on, then my tummy gets tight and it's painful for about 20-30 seconds then they fade and that takes about 20-30 seconds, as well as the build up. So the timing I mean the 90 second contraction thing is right. But they're so close together... I can't imagine this be labor... I have no other signs of either IBS or labor. =3=

OH jeez! Lol. I wish I would just go if that were the case I want my dinner   I'm hungry, and if I'm gonna go into labor I wanna eat first! And it's hard to breathe through these atm. Like my whole front half gets tight.

google contraction timer and download one of the apps if you time a set then it might tell you, We had loads of false starts with Meg but your discription of contractions sounds right to me, you dont always have loads of signs

Eat something light. There's a good chance you could get sick and you don't want to be in labor and puking at the same time.

i agree with this. either don't eat, or eat something light. you don't want to be throwing up if you are in labor.

I disagree, myself. The food you eat will help give you strength to get through childbirth. If you puke, you puke. No big deal, really. At least I didn't think it was that big a deal when I was in labor. A lot of women will puke in labor even if they don't eat anything. I wouldn't starve myself to prevent something that may or may not happen one way or the other.
Hope everything goes smoothly for you!

i don't mean that she should starve herself. but i just know that when i was in labor, eating was the last thing on my mind.
