Measuring weeks ahead

If you meqsured more than a few weeks ahead was there a reason? Im 16 weeks and some days.. They bumped my EDD to the 24th. Anway she said im measuring about 20 weeks. And if it stays that way they may want to do testing? Whats that mean? If you measured ahead was it extra fluid?

I always measured big but he came out big. So that's probably why.

I just dont wanna be 40 weeks and measuring 44 lol ouch! But im not too worried and either was she but she said it was deff bigger than normal.

Same, I measured big because he was big

I had too much amniotic fluid.

I steadily measured 1-2 weeks ahead from about 20 weeks, however they never changed my due date. They shouldn't change your EDD without a dating ultrasound. Last week at 34 weeks I measured at 38 weeks so they did an ultrasound and turns out baby is great and normal sized and I am carrying excess fluid. Polyhydramnios is what it's called. They may test you early for gestational diabetes. Blood sugar being out of wack and uncontrolled can cause extra fluid.

How many weeks ahead did you guys usually measure?

I measured 4 weeks ahead starting at about 20 weeks.

4 weeks ahead starting at 32 weeks and then 6 weeks ahead at induction at 39 weeks.

They changed my DD based on my 10 week US. But i havent seen the midwife since december and havent seen them since my US so i think thats why she changed it. Im ealier than we though but still measuring 4 weeks ahead.

It might just be because it's your 4th, your uterus may be a little more stretched. Since your other babies were small I wouldn't worry too much about having a really big baby

Well i do know at 6~7 weeks she said i felt aout 8 to 9 so its always been slightly bigger but she just pointed it out to me that it was 4 weeks ahead. Im guessing its the same thing honestly. I measured slighlty bigger with my last baby and caught up at 20 weeks.but it wasnt 4 weeks ahead! Just seems like alot to me i guess...

Im measuring around 6weeks ahead. I have had to do diabetes testing and they are doing ultrasound to see if there is extra fluid. I had normal fluid at the anatomy scan and he was in normal range. I guess now its wait and see when i find out I'll post in here again.( BTW i am 27weeks)

I measured 6 weeks ahead from 29 weeks on. He was big. I had GD and that was why. When I went in for my C Section I was actually measuring bigger than even the 6. I was measuring 48 weeks and I was only 38!

He never told me really but I do know I was bigger than "normal". I was a freaking house, and only gained 22ish lbs.
