re: Measuring weeks ahead

I was measuring 3 weeks ahead, went into labor 4 days before due date and had a 10 lb 1 oz baby girl.

aww.. its tough.. i measured consistantly 1 week and some change, ahead .. up until about 37weeks, then i measured 39wks, at 38 weeks i measured 40, then 39 i was measuring about 42wks, then they scheduled an ultrasound and at 40 wks they said she was so big the ultrasound was unable to acurrately measure her weight/length so he said she was absolutely more than 9 1/2lbs and more than 20inches long... by the time i delivered i was forced to do a csection at 41weeks i was measuring 44wks and she was 10lbs5oz and nearly 23inches (so just 1 inch shy of 2feet long)

im 31 weeks and measuring 36 weeks. my doctor said that ive always measured bigger and isnt doing anything no tests or ultra sounds. also had protein in my urine and he wasnt concerned. im a ftm so idk whats ok and whats not.

I been told that I'm measuring ahead. At 33 weeks i was measuring 37. I was also told he is really big as my last ultra sound I was nearly 33 weeks and he was 6.4 pounds already so the doctor mentioned that depending on how big he gets that is how far they letting me go but I don't think it will be before 37 weeks.

I always measure ahead by 4-10 weeks. I eventually even out tpward the end of my pregnancy. In my case its extra fluid, and I also have a short midsection (because I'm only 5'1)... and of course the uterus already knows what it needs to do and likes to gwt ahead off itself sometimes. I was tested early for GD because of it, but never had it and all babies came out perfect and a normal size.
