Just want to thank all the excellent ladies here who helped me. I was able to get the abortion because the South Dakota fund helped cover half the abortion. So again thanks for all your help!

I hadn't commented before but I'm so glad it worked out for you. Have you looked into the paraguard?

If paraguard is the iud then yes. The doctor who performed the abortion told me that I should wait until the end of this month to see my regular doc because if he did a pelvic exam my uterus would still look a little different and a pregnancy test would still show as positive because the hormones take a while to get back to normal. She said I'd have to fudge on my last period too. I'm glad it worked out too

Why would you have to fugde your period date? For me it has always been helpful to be honest with the doctor about everything. I wouldnt fudge it. I would say that you had an abortion on blah blah date... and you want to get a iud put in .

Because I wouldn't want to tell me doctor because he said I probably shouldn't get pregnant again for a few years so that my body could handle another pregnancy better. He also suggested I get on the bc pill or get an iud at my postpartum check out but I told him I just preferred to use condoms.

well you had an abortion. So you didnt stay pregnant. And you are looking into getting bc from preventing you from getting pregnant again. It should be happy that you are coming to him now. Know what I mean?? I hope Im making sense.

I get what you mean but he has no idea about the pregnancy that I aborted and I do not plan on telling him or anyone else. The only people that knew I was pregnant and got an abortion was the father and 2 of my close friends.
