Quoting Ur Local Frnt Desk Clrk:" There are resources out there that will help cover it. You might want to try and look up and see if ... [snip!] ... up and see if on the sliding scale it might be lower. Only $800 a month and they want to charge $600 doesn't sound right. "
Quoting Crystal Marie S.:" 15 states do, Minnesota is one of them. OP If the clinic is not able to help you further with the cost, try to see if you can get Medicaid as a secondary asap."
Quoting M walls:" google "freedom fund" & see which clinics in your area offer it. Its a program for low income women who want abortions. In colo medicaid does not cover it unless its a medical necessity"
Quoting Angel [Mariah's Mommy]:" You said that you can't take birth control because of your medications, could be get a non-hormonal birth control?"
Quoting A & R 4-ever:" I thought all birth control was hormonal?"
Quoting A & R 4-ever:" Isn't Medical Assistance the same as Medicaid? I read that they don't cover it unless you were raped, it was a cause of incest, or life threatening. Or would they cover it in any case?"From what I had read, if you get the Pregnancy Medicaid, then it covers abortions. I'm not entirely sure if they cover the whole cost, or a certain percentage or dollar amount, but it never stated that it was based on how the baby was conceived.
Quoting M walls:" <hblockquote><b>Quoting A & R 4-ever:</b>" It states that it's only for people in ... [snip!] ... fund paid for everything but 100. That included medication. Type freedom fund (yyour state). What state do you live in"

Quoting Angel [Mariah's Mommy]:" Nope, look into paragard. It's a non-hormonal IUD"
