Abortion, like not eating meat, is a personal choice.

You can support the right to choose without getting an abortion yourself, just as much as you can support people that choose eat meat without eating it yourself.

She said she "feels bad" about her family members eating meat. She feels bad for the animal that are killed but she takes a pro choice position...and I've never seen her say that she "feels bad" about the act of abortion. On the contrary. I've seen her advocate for abortion under any circumstance.

Both are personal choices. I'm not denying that. It just seems like a hypocritical stance to take.

I just feel that there's much more grey area.

You can feel bad about war, but still support the troops, or the cause... doesn't mean you like that there is a war, or wish that it wasn't a necessary step to take.

I'm pro-choice. I feel awful for anyone that experiences abortion, in whatever way. It's a smurffy decision to have to make, but sometimes it is the least smurffy option for the person making that decision.

Didn't say that was the only reason I don't eat meat. I do it for the health benefits as well.

And didn't say I feel great about abortion either. I feel badly about it too. Therefore I don't have abortions on the regular.

And sorry, but a clump of cells (which is when most abortions are performed) is not > a fully living mammal (and others) of any sort.

Have you ever read all of my posts? I doubt it. I advocate the CHOICE of having an abortion. Big difference.

And for the record, I've HAD an abortion and feel badly about it to this day. Just like I feel bad about previously being a meat eater, but I still support my family's choice to do so.

And I'd like to know where I've advocated the act other than saying its a better choice than adoption?

I've always said that no one, including myself, likes abortion. We/I just realize it is necessary. I've also always said that I would rather them be done before 12 weeks but know that's not always feasible...

not really... the animals are already here, fully developed, breathing on their own, capable of feeling pain. not the same as an embryo.

So you would not have them remove an ectopic pregnancy if you had one? You'd just let your tube burst open and possibly die leaving behind 4 children who need you all for a fetus who had no chance at life anyway?
