I am Pagan but was raised Baptist & forced to go to church

My stance: Pro-Choice


My religion: Christian (protestant)

My opinion: I read the Bible and try to live by it. That means I believe we were given free will, and not for others to condemn our decisions. I wouldn't choose it for myself, but I also wouldn't want someone else making decisions about MY body.

I'm pro-choice.

I was raised Southern Baptist (more like forced to go to church and act Christian.) I am Pagan now.

I voted against abortion. I am Christian, Southern Baptist. I believe it is a human life; if it's not a baby you arent pregnant. some states have fetal homicide laws, where you are charged with a double murder if you kill a pregnant woman. An abortion seems no less severe to me. However, I believe in the case of rape, incest, or where it threatens the life of the mother, it is acceptable. adoption isnt for everyone, though I would hope most choose this instead of ending a life.

If it were medically nessesary or she was raped then yes, but as far as "ops I got pregnant" um no, u know the consequenses of sex if u can't handle a baby then be very careful or dont open your legs.

A baby isn't a "consequence"

ETA: If someone got an STD would you expect them to live with it forever because that's the "consequence" of having unprotected sex?

I'm also of the opinion that abortion isn't utilized enough by the women who need to be utilizing it.

Those fetal homicide laws only apply after the fetus is viable outside the womb.

Which also is too late to abort in most states, and in the few that it may be allowed, it's only for medical reasons.

Everyone already said it before me, I am not 'pro abortion' or whatever the poll says, so I didn't vote.

However, I am pro-choice. And I am atheist.

Someone I know just had to travel from FL to NM to get an abortion at 28w because there was nowhere closer to do it.
