Pretty much. Mouths bleed a lot as it is...in most cases it seems like more blood than there really is because of saliva.
My kids have had plenty of busted lips over the years. Ive never had to take them in

That's good. The head in general tends to to bleed a lot for even the most superficial things, BUT it also seems to heal much faster, in my experience.

My ex hit hit mouth on the metal of a trampoline and got his front two teeth and braces straight through, he didn't get stitches, he just kept it clean and put ice on it.

As long as it stop bleeding and there isn't a gash it should be fine.

Same thing happened to my son.

I called his pedis nurse and she said there was really nothing they could do and that if it needed stitches, I would definitely know. She said mouths bleed alot just because of all the blood vessels. She suggested I just keep it clean and apply neisporin to the outside and salt water rinse the inside if he seemed like he needed it. It healed super fast and the faint mark it left is almost all the way faded.

Sorry. I know it can be scary.
