I can see the school from the end of our street (which is where I walked her to) and then there's the crossing guard who has been working there for years and keeps an eye on the kids.

She doesn't go there anymore since we transferred her back to her old school so now I have to drive her.

Different strokes for different folks. I wouldn't let my current kindy walk to school alone but I know my oldest better than anyone else and I trust her.
