Birthing balls

Did they help move you guys along a little? Or at least help relieve any pain or anything? My yoga instructor told me to get one, but I don't want to spend the money for nothing.

It helped with my pelvic pain. Obviously I didn't labor but I'm sure It helps for that too. I know I say on one with dd1 during labor but that was over 5 yrs ago and I don't remember haha

I bounced on one for a week before my waters breaking and going into labour on my due date. It helped him turn from the back to back position (thats why i was told to bounce on one ALOT to move him) and it was also the comfiest thing i had sat on all pregnancy! it was great.   and it really helped during contractions.

It helped me before labor. I used it and it helped get baby into position plus it forced me to sit up straighter so I was able to breathe better.

Good! Are there any exercises that you guys know of to turn the baby face-up? The doctor thinks I'm in for back labor  

Again it helped my pelvic pain a lot. It was soooo comfortable but it was useless for sitting on in actual labour (when I had a contraction, I had to stand).

ETA: I also had back labour.

dexter was back to back at my 39weeks check up and she said bounce on the ball (she never said how just said bounce) and it should turn him. It did, when i went into labour and they checked he was the the right way and the first half of my labour he was the right way round. But then he flipped round again. so i got a bit of both labours. lol.

Bounce up and down. Rotate your hips.
