Round ligament pain

A friend of mine and I were talking about round ligament pain and she said that she felt it shortly after conception and I was wondering if anyone else felt them that early as well. It is her 5th pregnancy and I know that the uterus grows faster with each one so it could be possible but I thought I would ask. Also was it a constant thing for you or Intermitent like the books say?

I felt implantation pain and constant cramping after that from round ligament til around 7 weeks with my first pregnancy. I didnt get round ligament with this one til 12 weeks.

What did the implantation pain feel like?

Just like a period but it was stabbing on my bottom right side instead of all over.

How long did that last? I didn't know you could get implantation pain.

on and off for a few hours. I did not get it with my current pregnancy. but I know a ton of girls who have gone through the same thing as me.

And it just lasted a few hours?

yes and shortly after that I had round ligament pains that lasted for along time and it was almost constant. it was the reason why I didnt think i was pregnant and didnt find out til 6 weeks.

I could see that. I know with my second the round ligament pain made me think I was having a miscarriage.

I had that issue with my second pregnancy, I went to the hospital thinking something was wrong.

Yup. I was convinced I was losing the baby. They checked me out didn't see an issue and then my nurse was like welcome to mother hood.
