For people trying to lose weight

posted 8th Feb
This motivates the hell out of me. Hopefully it motivates you too!

This is ONE pound of fat

Don't get discouraged if you only lose a few pounds after ALL that work. It's more than you think! And remember you've likely gained some muscle if you're working out and that won't show on the scale.

Don't let the number on the scale discourage you out of continuing!

Thank you for this!! I've lost about 15lbs so far but recently my motivation has been shot. I'm saving this and using it to help get me going again!

The fat picture really motivates me because I just imagine grabbing a handful of my body and throwing it out. A pound of fat is a LOT!

That totally made me feel better. I've lost around 30lbs in the last year and I was really starting to get down on myself because I feel like I don't look any different.
But I've got to loose the rest of this. And that totally helped.

Wow! That's a TON of weight.

Imagine what that would look like to hold? Not to mention the fat you traded for muscle.

Each pound is an accomplishment, it may not feel like much, but youre getting rid of it.

Also get a support system, have them hold you accountable. Dont feel like working out today, call them up and be reminded of how far youve come. Each pound makes a difference!!

If it wasnt for my vi team i would have quit a long time ago. (Visalus=vi)

Same. I got back down to my pre-pregnancy weight of 115 in December, but the number on the scale doesn't make my body healthy or in shape. My muscles are pathetic, hah.

Can't stress enough how little the number on the scale matters. A fit body and good overall health is what we should be aiming for, not just weight loss.
