posted 8th Feb
"Not recommended for further military service." "It is believed deployment will worsen the condition. Service member is concidered nondeployable." Im such a mix of emotions right now Im not even sure what to think.

Is this a good thing or bad thing? Are you getting medically discharged?

I'm sorry you have mixed emotions but if I remember right, you didn't want to be in the military anymore. I'm sorry you have mixed emotions but I'm happy you got the result you wanted. Huge hugs.

Do you have mixed emotions because you think you've failed? Or because you think you've let down your coworkers? Or do you know the reason you have mixed emotions?

This is probably a really good thing. I've seen some of your posts. The life of that of a military personnel is probably not a good thing for you.

I wish you didn't have mixed emotions.

Did they give a reason? Or do you already know and they were just confirming?

Its both.... I love the navy. Getting out is far from easy for me but being a mommy is more important. Its an admisitrative dischage. along the lines of just not being a good fit. Its honerable though.

Wait until your baby is older and go back? As long as its a honorable discharge you should be fine.

I'm sorry to hear that. I would feel the same way if the Air Force discharged me. There are days I love being in, but there are days I'd rather stay home with my son.

Truly I understand. I really do. I just know how stressful it's been for you.

It seems like it would be alot like how I felt when I got the letter I got approved for disability.

I understand that feeling of wanting to be there for your child and provide for her and the feeling of giving up a job you love. It's hard.

Your feelings are valid.

I was told the only thing I wouldnt be able to do is return to active duty. Im sure Ill be ok. I know tons of families get by without the military its just the only life I know. I went in right out of high school. so from 18-22

Yeah. Its good to know people understand. Everyone expects me to be happy about it just because its what I wanted. And Im like just cause I wanted out doesn't mean I didnt also want to stay in..... Idk its just hard. No one seems to get why its hard on me.
