I am the same. I just went through my room and my kids room and got rid of a smurf done of useless stuff they try to keep. lol

I cant save everything, and if they want to thats fine but they will need to rent a pay for their own stoarage unit to keep it in. lol

My kids are still very little so I can get away with tossing anything they don't use. But I do have to make sure my 3 year old is out of the house when I do a toy clear-out because he'll suddenly want to play with the toys I want to give away because he hasn't touched them in months.

Mine used to do that, well still do at 4 and 10. lol I couldnt careless at all. If they whined about it they got grounded.

Right now it's easier just to do it behind his back since he doesn't miss them. Although he did ask me where his big train set[which was completely broken and he would throw a fit every 10 minutes because he couldn't put it together] was and I told him it was broken so I threw it in the garbage, how about playing with your other train? And he was like, okay. Went way easier than I thought lol.
