So yesterday i had diarrhea. No big deal..wasnt that often just seemed like a random thing. Well i got up 3 times between 10 and % with it and ive stayed up since then. Its been an hour and ive been back to the bathroom 3 times with diarrhea. Ive gone through 3 bottles of water through out the night. I havent had this much diarrhea before and i havent had it all throughout this pregnancy. Im 22 weeks now..i was just wondering if i should call the doctor with how often its been?
Loose stools can be a sign of preterm labor and is often the only sign in very early preterm labor cases (like 22weeks). It could be nothing but I would call in
Always better to be safe than sorry is the way I always look at things when it comes to my pregnancies and my child... better you get things checked out and have it be nothing that be having preterm labor ! GL
No you don't need to go in or call unless you are having other problems. This is normal you can take something for it though. You could have ate something that irritated your bowels. I crapped so much like that while I was pregnant if I went to L&D every time for it they would have banned me lol.
Thanks ladies. I went in this morning after the doc called me back. I was having some cramping and stuff. They said i was extremely dehydrated and had a virus. So they gave me meds anda few bags of iv fluids, had me on monitors the whole time and ran a bunch of tests and did 2 ultrasounds to double check everything. We were there for about 6 hours. They said it probably would have started preterm labor if i had not gone in and gotten all the fluids and stuff i did. Im glad i went in

Thank you! They told me to drink as close to 2 liters of fluid a day as I could. That's really hard, I have to pretty much drink non stop throughout the day. But, if it's helping, I think I can deal! haha =]
