Mastitis- abcess

Soo I developed mastitis and was put on antibiotics, which helped some I guess... it seemed to be getting better but now its red, swollen, and the skin around the nipple is cracking and there is pus discharge   Anyone ever dealt with this? Do I need to go back to the dr again? Or will it clear up as I continue to take the antibiotics?

I have same thing. . Just got antibiotics on Tuesday. I don't have pus and haven't. . But still red. .. my dr told me to call him back in 3 or 4 days if no improvement. And definitely by end of 7 days of pills if not better. .. how many days have you taken antibiotics? ?? My Brady is still lumpy. . Not at sore. And not quite as red. . So improving. .. but still may call Dr tomorrow anyway to make sure that's enough good progress after 2.5 days of meds

I've been on antibiotics a week now. I thought it was getting better until this popped up

Oh id definitely call the dr back then. . Especially since tomorrow is Friday. . You don't want it to get worse over weekend and have to go to er or urgent care if dr can see u.
