Lump in my breast?

I have this little pea sized hard spot in the top of my right breast. I just noticed it. I don't know what to think of it or where to go from here??? I am at a total loss and need some advice. I am a bit worried. :/

You can make an appt for a mammogram. Tell them you felt a lump.

Do you breastfeed? Could it be a clog in your milk duct?

If that can be ruled out, I would put a warm compress on it to make sure it's not like a pimple or ingrown hair or something.

If you can rule both of those out or you are just worried, then call your OBGYN and ask to leave a message with the nurse.

Would I talk to my GYN?

I don't breastfeed   I guess I will call in the morning as soon as I get up. It kind of caught me off guard. I know it sounds pretty stupid lol

Make an appointment with your gyn, to get a brest exam/mammogram. Usually most lumps are nothing, but if it happw nwd to be something it's best to catch it early. I know you're probably scared bu try not to worry too much... And don't go reading all the stories on Google. I had what I thought was a lump and it turned out yo be a swollen nodule.

No, it doesn't at all. I totally understand your concern. I went to the doctor for a lump that was pea-sized, and it was a lymph node. It was in the "side boob" tissue, like between my actual breast and under arm. Turned out my new deodorant was aggravating my lymph nodes. I ended up getting like 3-4 of those lumps on each side. I changed deodorant and never got another one. My sister has also had hard lymph nodes before, but hers were on her arm and had no real explanation lol

I also had my OBGYN completely freak me out once by ordering a double mammogram for me saying he felt cysts, when he actually just forgot I had breast implants.

Thank you ladies! I am glad I asked because I debated on it. But I will make a call to my Ob/Gyn in the morning and see what they can tell me. I don't look things up on Google, they tell you the worst possible outcomes for any situation! But this lump is about a inch above my nipple and its really hard feeling, if that makes any sense?

Deodorant caused my swollen lymph node too...lol. Maybe I should just stop wearing it :p

Just get out checked for peace of mind if nothing else

There are so many possibilities about what it could be, most of which are not a big deal at all.

Lol what did they tell you to do? They told me to use plain anti-persperant instead of scented deodorant but... I like the smell lol

An inch above the nipple huh? Does sound like it could be a clogged duct.

Oh, and they told me to use the hard gel deodarant and not the white powdered kind.... I guess it worked cause I haven't had another one.
