16 Week Ultrasound?

If you had an ultrasound at 16 weeks and had gender determined was it accurate? I am debating if I should wait until my 20 week planned ultrasound or go to an optional place around 16 weeks to find out.. with my daughter I waited until 20 weeks but I just feel more anxious about everything with this pregnancy lol.

I had a 14 week & 4 day US because of bleeding, & the tech told me she was pretty sure she was a girl. Went to my 20 week anatomy scan & sure enough, she was a girl  

Most recommend at least 18 weeks for accuracy.

I just wouldn't buy anything to be safe. You could always ask again for them to check at your 20 week check up.

My first two I knew at 14 weeks and this one didn't know 100% till about 28 wks. They could probably tell now but it also depends on how cooperative the baby is.

I found out with both of my children at 15w and I have one of each.

very true. I know at the optional place if baby doesn't cooperate they let you come back on another day so I wouldn't be loosing out on money - unless they are wrong and I find out later lol.

I had one just short of 16 weeks, was told girl, turned out to be a boy. I know they can be accurate, but they couldn't get a good angle on my baby on the earlier scan so they got it wrong.

that's what I'm so worried about lol. I had a super complicated pregnancy with my first so maybe 8 ultrasounds so it was DEF confirmed she was a girl but I am hoping to have a "normal" pregnancy this time around if all goes as planned I only have a 12 week and 20 week ultrasound scheduled.

I payed for one at 15 weeks and it was clearly a boy

Lol i know. I had mine done on me and my fiances one year anniversary at i believe 18 weeks and as soon as i found out i ran and bought so many pink things. Thankfully she WAS a girl but i would have been so mad if she wasn't haha
