Green poop

My son is breastfed and 11 weeks old. He has had a pretty bad cold since Tuesday and today his poop was green instead of it's usual bright yellow. He also has significantly slowed down how much he eats. Anyone know what is going on or how I can help him?

Ear infection with the cold i'm guessing... I hope he gets better soon momma

if hes slowed down how much he eats it could be too much foremilk. LO used to get the odd green poop

Wouldn't worry to much that poop changed color, at least baby is still pooping. Apart from a bit of pain killer they isn't much for colds in babys. If they is a lot on chest you could try laying across your knees and patting back for a while with both hands

Ya, probably too much foremilk. Also can be a sign of food sensitivity to something you ate, but hopefully it just goes back to normal soon and you don't have to worry about it.

Yes, that would likely mean too much formilk if they weren't getting to the hindmilk in a feeding. Same deal.
