well at 14 that does seem like most logical solution, unless you want to ruin your life.

What the smurf?

I've been here for almost a year and a half, and never once have I seen anyone say anything remotely close to that. It's usually along the lines of, "You have three options, abort, adopt, keept. If I had gotten pregnant at 14 I'd abort. Good luck, you're going to need it."

Any smart 14 year old would have an abortion if she found out she was pregnant. Just saying.

I think any smart 14 yr. old would do whats best for her and her child. I am not the one to judge and say what fits that persons situation. But a mature and intelligent individual would look into ALL their options. Not just abortion...

Very true, but all OP said the girl should do is keep her baby, no matter what. I'm all for a 14 year old making her own choices like that, but telling her that her only choice should BE keeping the child is ridiculous.

Oh yeah, I didn't see that. I was mainly responding to the people in THIS thread saying "any smart 14 yr old would get an abortion" or "she should get an abortion"... I was 16 when I had my son, I was stupid, but I finished school, graduated college, etc. So these people saying abortion is basically her only "smart" option is pretty smurfed up.

Well I mean, I'm not going to lie, her EASIEST option, especially considering her age, would be to have an abortion. However, I'm not going to push that as her only option, because adoption is out there too. I just find it incredibly stupid to tell a 14 year old to keep her child no matter what.

Oh, I agree. I did it, I know it's hard. I'd never push for my 14 yr old to do it. Cause I know it's rough. And having your childhood taken away like that is something you never truly get over.
