The fact that a 14 year old has gone online to seek support from strangers speaks volumes about the support she's receiving at home.

At 14, yeah, the best option is an abortion. 14 is still very much a child, and children should not be having children.

The fact is that you weren't. Matter of fact, nobody was. Who says it went down the way this hormonal OP is describing? It is likely that many suggested that she evaluate her options and included abortion as most likely the best given the "situation" at hand. It is possible that OP is a crazed Pro-lifer and can't stand the thought of abortion so it is wrong to suggest it period.

Maybe she can't talk to her mom? Maybe she lives in an abusive household? Sometimes talking to strangers is best.

Jesus Christ it's not like people were trying to force it on her. She's old enough to understand what people are saying to her, suggesting abortion is not the end of tthe smurfing world. People were trying to make sure that she knows she has options because A LOT of teenagers that end up pregnant think that they only have ONE option and they don't look into anything else because that's the way they think it's supposed to be. And THAT is why there is so many young girls with babies they can't support, because no one told them they have options.

It's one thing to suggest some options, but it usually goes along the lines of "YOU'RE SmUrfING STUPID AND YOU NEED TO ABORT THAT SmUrfING BABY RIGHT SmUrfING NOW". It's not a suggestion, it's horrible.
And to say she is pregnant because she has a smurffy mom is idiotic. Sure, it COULD be a contributing factor, but plenty of straight A students with good supportive families do stupid crap.

there are absolutely alot of children in foster homes. TOTALLY not debating that. I'm just saying there are more choices than abortion. of course it's not someone else's responsibility to "pop" them out as it was so crudely put. I don't remember saying it was all I'm saying is that baby could be loved by someone rather than non existing.

Abortion is the best choice for a fourteen year old. Sorry. That is the reality.

I doubt anyone told her she had to get an abortion. They more likely were telling her options and giving an opinion on what they think would be best. If she didn't want opinions she shouldn't have posted

your comment is irrelevant. I've never seen anyone say "You're smurfing stupid, you need to abort that baby etc"
