water leaking??

Dr said as long as it didn't gush not to cone in until I'm contracting more frequently. Sooooooooo.... no driving an hour to the hospital just to have it checked.

Would I be able to fill it leaking if I'm just laying down?? Whatever it is has a bleachy smell... is that normal? Umm.. idk give me all your info.

You're not due for another month. I would go in.


When mine leaked I was two days before my due date. It leaked for 6 hours and I was admitted as soon as I went in.

if your water broke and you're not contracting.. you should go in. Odd htat he said not to. They'd need to do something to get contractions going so you deliver within 18 hours, or start antibiotics

I'd go in. My doctor told me its likely if your water is likely, it'll come out more while laying down because babys head isn't blocking the opening.

Hmm... he said as long wait doesn't gush I am okay not to have her for 48hrs. And I am contracting but not too intense or close yet. He said to call back in the am if nothing happens.

The way you are describing it though, it sounds like your water leaking, and thats not a little issue. If you ARE leaking, and you don't get it taken care of, it can cause infection, or dangerously low water levels. Better to be safe then sorry.
