Do you smoothie?

posted 7th Feb
I picked up a ton of fruit today and since I got home I've been freezing everything. I got bananas, strawberries, mangoes, blackberries, kale, and baby spinach. It doesn't seem like a lot of variety, but I bought a ton of each. I'm currently softening a bag of carrots that we've had since last week so I can puree them and freeze them for smoothies. I've also stuck some left over coffee and vanilla almond milk in the freezer so I can have those on hand for iced coffees rather than running to Starbucks.

So, if you make smoothies, what do you put in yours?

We make smoothies a lot. We use almond milk, organic yogurt, frozen fruit (whatever we have, usually strawberries, mango, blueberries, bananas..) and spinach leaves.

It's always different depending what fruits veggies I have but my fave is OJ, yogurt, spinach, strawberry, Kiwi, and honey.

I like Kale and Brocoli in them too when I have those veggies.

I usually do frozen berries (strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries), banana, fat free vanilla yogurt, a splash of milk and sometimes ground flax seed

I forgot to mention I picked up yogurt, too. For those who use kale and broccoli can you taste them, like are they overpowering? A while back I made a smoothie with spinach, strawberries, banana, and some yogurt, and I couldn't taste the spinach.

I've never had kale before, but after looking on pinterest it seems to be a popular ingredient to toss in.

I cant taste it personally. I think it's just like adding Spinach, it's there but not overpowering.
