C section mamas

My daughter will be 1 in 2 weeks. My pain was gone after a few months and started coming back. Now I will have random days where I am so incredibly sore, shooting pains, and feel like I am in recovery again. After a while I started having problems going to the bathroom where I feel like I am in labor. My stomach hurts so bad! Right now my whole belly hurts and this just sucks.   I had an ultrasound done and everything came back normal. I was told to follow up with my PCP if I have more pain but I have no clue what he would do. Does anyone else have this problem? Did it eventually go away and all was well with your body?

Hmm I never had that problem. Maybe a couple months after but not a year. If it were me I'd talk to my doctor.

I would definitely follow up with your PCP. I had a c-section 11 months months ago and once the initial pain was gone it didn't come back. My incision always has a mildly sore feeling but not the kind of pain you described.

I saw my doctor who I had while pregnant. She wants me to see my regular doctor though. But I really don't see how he could help when he isn't the one who knows stuff about this. I had a healthy recovery too which is why it is odd.

I guess I will call and tell him what's up. It is so weird some days everything is fine then some it is hell. And I never over do it. I sit all day most of the time at work.

I had ultrasounds etc done to check the scar tissue but nothing conclusive came of it. I've just learnt to deal with it.

And I also always get pain out of nowhere where my scar was too

Its the nerves coming back. In some areas you feel numb but give it time, feeling will return. It hurts like a sob I know!

Wow I'm sorry! Yeah I get like that. It feels like I am having contractions. It gets real bad at times.

I never thought of that! Part of my numbness did recently go away.
