I have the Beaba Baby Cook and the First Years BabyPro .. lLOVE the babyPro
Both steam and puree .. the beaba can only do now at nice, the pro you can puree while something else is steaming.. it was perfect for making my large batches to freeze

I got a hand blender for about £6 from argos. Ill cook what I need then put it in a big bowl and blend till it looks right. I also like doing it this way coz as my boys got older a can decide how lumpy/smooth to make it. Some things like chicken ill blend more and things like potato he likes a bit more lumpy

saucepan with steamer and hand blender, potato masher, strainer (sift)
Those actual baby food makers are a waste of money if you ask me, but each to there own I guess. Our ancestors did fine without them I just use my hand blender at moment. Was putting through strainer aswell (sift) but don't bother anymore, next I'll move onto using a potato masher.

regular blender/food processor. They do the same job the baby food maker does. Plus you can do larger amounts.

Our ancestors use to walk everywhere, but I love my car

· If you are looking for baby food makers under $100, then I think you need to look at Baby Brezza, Baby Chef Ultimate, Baby Bullet Complete Baby Care System. Those are some of the top selling ones. I made comparison between them and the ones that are above $100. You can read it at www.squidoo.com/cuisinart-bfm-1000-baby-food-maker
