You do what you have to do and good luck to you. It's not easy or glorious by any means, but it's my biggest accomplishment. Every parent struggles from time to time no matter what their situation is. No you aren't prepared for it but honestly who is prepared? Lol. No matter how much money someone has and how "established" someone is no one is ever fully prepared to be a parent. Just take it one day at a time and never give up and doing what you need to do for yourself and your child. If that requires state aid WHO CARES!!! There are tons and tons of people I know who are in their 30s getting pregnant and living on state aid.

On another note to answer your speech, both my kids are to the same dad , been with him for 8 years and I don't want to get married my personal choice, I don't need paper or a name to prove anything.

Yes it was a bad assumption as is what she said to the OP. Because she's young that doesn't mean she's a druggie. The girls profile says she is 18, recently married and thinking of having her 1st child. Sorry for the bad assumption. I hate when people assume certain things when it comes to young mothers. I was 17 when I got pregnant. I wasn't on drugs. Things happen.
