re: Took more tests

Good luck to you if you are pregnant. Sorry that there are so many here against teen pregnancy, but I'm one of them. Do you have a job? a car? health insurance? money? Takes a lot to raise a baby and people are just worried about you and a baby. If you turn out not pregnant, you really should try to prevent it until you are out of school and on your own. I'm not trying to offend you but I really hope things work out.

You're right there are a lot of adults that aren't even ready for babies. But at least they are adults who can work and provide their own transportation and are hopefully done with school.

You cannot do it all on your own at 16. You would need to get legally emancipated before you could even think about moving out on your own, let alone be able to afford it.

What exactly is a charter school? Is it like a private school where you pay tuition? If so, who pays your tuition? Don't you think you may get thrown out of the charter school for being pregnant?

She's already pregnant so nothing any one says or does can change anything. She will have to figure thongs out and deal with whatever comes her way. I got pregnant with my first child at 17. I stayed at my mothers house and got myself together. I dropped out of highschool and got my GED. I needed 18 credits to graduate and didn't want to be in highschool with an infant. I took GED classes and got my diploma in 9 months. I went to work when my son was 2 months old. Not every situation is tragic. I'm now married with two kids and one on the way. I hope her situation is better than most. She needs help not criticizing. What's done is done.

I was a teen mom without any state help. So stop being stupid, you have no idea what you're talking about, other than knowing you have a disposition against teen moms.

I'm against teen pregnancy because I know first hand how hard it is and how much teens really don't understand what they're getting themselves into.

You're just being a jackass for the sake of being a jackass.

Her problem is that she has no parental support, which is going to make her situation next to impossible.

Yes jackass, good word. You were 16 living on your own, full time job, paying for day care on your own with all living expenses including your car and insurance? Nice try, jackass. Teens need to keep them damn legs closed. Shoot me

No. I lived at home with my parents for less than 6 months. Then I moved out on my own and worked multiple jobs before I graduated high school. Once I graduated high school I had one full time job with benefits and then some side jobs for extra money. I paid for everything. Rent. Day care. Clothes. Baby proofing. Food. My car. My car insurance. My health insurance. My utilities. My phone. My retirement. My life insurance. My attorney's fees.

Tell my 5 year old that his mommy who teaches him everything, has wiped every runny nose, has cleaned up every mess, has rocked him to sleep, bathes him, and provided everything he has ever needed....to keep her legs closed.

I think people like you are more of a headache than people like me. When was the last time you fought all odd, busted your ass, and did everything on your own? When was the last time you were a single mother and under ages o had to climb uphill for absolutely everything, from living on your own, to working full time?

Let me know if you ever need to learn how. I'll have plenty of advice for you.
